Melissa Schneider, MD, PC is a Harvard-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 25 years of experience serving men and women in Boston, Massachusetts. In her private practice, Dr. Schneider specializes in same-day, non-invasive procedures that improve your skin without the need for incisions, stitches, or downtime. She is sought after for her extensive expertise with innovative and time-tested aesthetic procedures, which reverse aging and sun damage. Dr. Schneider’s goal is to help rejuvenate and refresh skin in a natural way so that her patients look like they have just returned from a relaxing vacation. “I think many of today’s procedures are over reaching, trying to make people look dramatically younger, but not in a natural fashion.”
Dr. Schneider is a Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude graduate of Hamilton College and an Alpha Omega Alpha (honors) graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Seattle’s Virginia Mason Medical Center, where she was named the Most Outstanding Resident. Her training continued with a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital. As an accomplished researcher, Dr. Schneider has also been a recipient of many prestigious awards, including the Sigma Xi award in scientific research and the Skinner Award in medical research.
